Adobe Flash is dead, Microsoft is the latest company to drop all use of Adobe Flash animation plugins from the new Windows 8 operating system launching early next year…
Can there really be a future for Flash now with such big companies such as Microsoft and Apple avoiding it? Even adobe admit it’s doomed with the recent introduction of software to convert flash to HTML 5 files.

#BBC report on mobile and broadband speeds appear pointless. If you are going to conduct a worthy test at least use apps that span more than just the lesser used Android phone. No iPhone app, No Blackberry app, No java app for older phones and NO web app or site to report? With such a distorted and pointless excercise is the information even worth their reporting? NO! but they do it anyway – http://bbc.in/q8U5GH

England riots: Government mulls social media controls (BBC)

#BBC “The government is exploring whether to turn off social networks or stop people texting during times of social unrest.” Given that in Europe the EU say internet access is now classed as “A human right” is it legal to deny access, and technically possible? I doubt it very much… More of Mr Camerons utter rubbish. In times of pressue and stress, talk rubbish! #DavidCameron
